Utah Judge Rejects Kalshi’s Federal Shield From Gambling Laws
A federal judge granted Utah summary judgment Tuesday, holding that the Commodity Exchange Act does not preempt the state’s anti-gambling laws as applied to Kalshi’s sports event contracts.
